“The real road of compassion, that is, giving, helping, assistance and community service,
is a road that can be set and declared as your life’s purpose.” ~ Byron Pulsifer

Have you ever noticed how little societies change… except for the ways, the people with “power”… want them to change?
Why does this happen, time-and-again?
Do the people with the “power”… really, have all the “power”…
or is there a “secret weapon” they have?
.
Do the people without the “power”… really, not have much “power”…
or is there a “secret weapon” they’re missing?
Is it possible… some people without much “power”, are unintentionally helping to create a self-fulfilling prophesy, for themselves?
This is a lovely, complex topic, that I haven’t figured out, although there appears to be a consistent thread, connected to most (not all) those with “power” and missing from those without “power”.
Further; this thread doesn’t seem to have any preference for race or gender.
The thread… DMQ (Decision Making Quality)!

How does this thread play out in the real world?
Quite simply… people with “power” usually make High-DMQ decisions… to keep their “power” (and it’s often not attractive!)
Meanwhile… people without “power” usually make Low-DMQ decisions… often, to their own detriment.
We see this DMQ play out in every market we’ve worked. Even with our best efforts to help the organizations who need the most help, only the outliers in this “needs help” group, will work with our teams. Meanwhile 100+ F500’s, who are already large and don’t need more help and another $100+ Million, have worked with our teams.
In launching our 100,000+ Scholarships Initiative, aligned with DEI,
we are really trying to help the small-to-mid-sized universities,
especially those who are doing the most for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Nonetheless, finding leaders at small-to-mid-sized universities,
who are actually committed to DEI, who actually “get it”
and are actually capable of leading opportunities to bring in an
additional $25+ Million…
is much harder… than finding leaders who “get it” at larger,
more successful universities…
and, who really don’t need these new donation streams as much.

So… how do we effectively, actually help…
those who need help…
who don’t make the choices needed…
to help themselves, their organizations, etc.?
Do you know universities, committed to DEI, who are capable of collaboration, to create Scholarships?
We’re looking for the Collaborative-Top-7%-Do-ers at Universities… not the 93% Look-Good-Talkers.. who do very little!
We’ve added an Intelligent Social Impact model that can fund 1,000+ College Scholarships for DEI initiatives;
and, can be implemented at any U.S. college!
The coolest part…
it doesn’t cost the university or donor corporations a net $0.01 to implement and fully fund!
If you’re a Collaborative-Top-7%’er… DM me directly jim.roncevich@ipgsocialimpact.com.
