The 100+ Year Supply Chain Issue Nobody’s Talking About!

“A relentless barrage of “why’s” is the best way to prepare your mind to pierce the clouded

veil of thinking caused by the status quo.  Use it often.”  ~ Shigeo Shingo

Supply chain issues… why has it been all the buzz the last couple years? Because… it’s now impacting people in wealthy countries!

Have you ever wondered why, you:

  • Had reasonable access to a college education, when millions of people didn’t?
  • Have clean water to drink, a roof over your head and food on your table, while billions (literally) of people don’t have one or more of these “luxuries”?
  • Earn more than $10 a day, while 80% of the world lives on less than $10 a day? (Source: World Bank)

Is it remotely possible, you’ve been blessed with these “luxuries”,

so you can create significant positive social impact, for those

not as blessed with the resources and opportunities to work hard, like you?

At your birth… did you pick the color of your skin, the country you were born or the socioeconomic level of your family? Right… you could have just as easily, been a not-so-lucky person!

Now… with all your resources and opportunities…

will you use them to be a “link” in Top-7% Social Impact Supply Chain Solutions…

or opt to be in the much easier, comfortable group of 93%,

“Doing Just Enough to Look Good Enough… So…

Don’t Ask Me To Do Any More” group?

This Top-7% Social Impact Supply Chain is actually so simple… it sounds complex!

Let’s start with a basic, general rule of thumb… only Top-7%’ers change the world. Wouldn’t it be great, if Top-7%’ers could change the world by themselves! If it only took one person to fix social issues, they’d all be fixed!

Unfortunately, collaboration of Top-7%’ers is required to actually fix

complex social issues; which is why, they don’t get fixed!

Here’s where the Top-7% Supply Chain typically breaks down. Most people think the reason we have so many social problems, is obvious… only 7% of people are actually capable of being part of the solution for 100% of our social challenges. However, this is merely the tip of the iceberg. The problem is actually much, much more challenging!

Thus; as can be observed, the world’s social challenges persist, generation after generation, after generation… because of this Top-7% Supply Chain Issue.

.

Let’s start with what Top-7%’er are not. They are not people who just have:

   + Money

   + Influence

   + Ideas

Sorry; these are all nice-to-haves and are valued by most people, but having just these attributes, doesn’t change the world. Not convinced? Just look around, at our shared world! We have an abundance of people with these attributes.

Top-7%’ers are people, who at most (and aren’t capable of being more than), a “Holistic-Link”, because nobody can be the entire “Chain”, in a Social Impact Supply Chain Solution!

The best way to comprehend what “Holistic Links” are in the Holistic Supply Chain, include:

  1. Top 7% Leaders identifying the root causes of a challenge… e.g. homelessness, abuse, discrimination, etc.
  2. Top-7% Organizations, with Top-7% Leaders, who are committed to being a “Holistic Link” in the Social Impact Supply Chain.
  3. Top-7% Leaders, willing to work behind the scenes to ensure the Social Impact Supply Chain isn’t broken.
  4. Top 7% Boots on the Ground Leaders who can implement positive social impact at specific points where social challenges exist.

If any one of these 4+ required “Holistic Links”, isn’t a Top-7%’er…

the Social Impact Supply Chain is broken…

and the “would have been” positive social impact is forfeited or greatly diminished.

It’s important to note, there are exceptional Top-7% “Links” today in broken Social Impact Supply Chains… who are really trying. But; that isn’t enough, as we can see from the never-ending social challenges.

DEI… look around… most people in leadership positions are constantly talking about it. Unfortunately, they haven’t figured out how to get, or in most cases, aren’t committed to actually getting, only Top-7%’ers into their Social Impact Supply Chain to implement an effective DEI strategy… that actually works exceptionally… and actually solves these persistent DEI challenges… intelligently.

.

Thus; most talk.. about DEI… is just that… “talk”,

with just enough action sprinkled in to make leaders look good enough. Sigh!

Our DEI solutions enables Top-7%’er to champion and implement complete Social Impact Supply Chain solutions.
