“We avoid risks in life only to die, and end up facing the greatest risk
which is having lived life risking nothing at all.” ― Chinonye J. Chidolue

Holistic Decision Making Quality (DMQ)… the bedrock and driver of our lives!
Do you know what the sub-DMQ’s are, that make up Holistic-DMQ?
Interestingly… why do certain decisions seem so painful to make at one point in our lives; while those same types of decisions, made at different times in our lives, seem far less painful?
The answer to this powerful question lies in the shift we make, in choosing which sub-DMQ’s to use each time and how we weight each of these sub-DMQ’s, to make our final, Holistic-DMQ decisions!
Let’s revisit the sub-DMQ’s, which, when weighted (total = 100%) and accumulated together, make up our Holistic-DMQ.
- DMQ–Base System – Foundational base;
- DMQ–Inner Circle – The circle of relationships, from which we primarily draw decision-making input;
- DMQ–Vision of Future Self – How we see our future, before making present day decisions;
- DMQ–Self-Sabotage – How we make decisions to sabotage the outcome of our decision;
- DMQ–Courage – Our courage to actually pursue our unique, authentic decisions;
- DMQ–Heart – Decisions generated primarily from the heart vs. mind;
- DMQ– Decisions generated primarily from the soul vs. mind; and,
- DMQ–Freewill – Ability to disregard all other Sub-DMQ’s to just make a hopeful / gut decision.

Each sub-DMQ that’s used to create our Holistic-DMQ, is uniquely weighted for each decision we make. This in-turn, determines our sub-process for making each decision. Thus, ultimately generating the good, bad or ugly consequences for each of our decision.
Here are a few examples.
+ We disregard most of our sub-DMQ’s and only use our DMQ-Freewill to make a boneheaded decision. Interestingly, because we didn’t use our DMQ-Heart and DMQ-Soul… the pain will be relatively low when things don’t turn out well.
+ We make a gut-wrenching decision where our Heart-DMQ and Soul-DMQ are heavily weighted. When things don’t go well, the pain can be excruciating.
+ We haven’t developed our DMQ-Inner-Circle well, then lean on them for help in making a critical decision. When the decision doesn’t turn out well, and we realize we haven’t selected a strong DMQ-Inner-Circle, this realization can be a red flag, letting us know that we need to improve who is in our Inner-Circle.
.
Reflect on your decision making processes and examine how you’ve been allocating your 100% (Holistic-DMQ) into each sub-DMQ. Now, reflect back and consider how you felt each time you made one of those important decisions. Thoroughly understand how your previous decisions made you feel. Consider whether the difference on how you felt previously, from how you feel now for similar decisions, was generated… by how you allocated your sub-DMQ’s.
So… how do you improve your decision making skills with this information?
The not-so-simple to execute answer… select the most relevant sub-DMQ’s, then weight them intelligently, that enable your highest probability of success.
